Hi, Stephanie! Glad to see that you are exploring different options. Depending on its design and position in the building, the staircase could become a powerful element in your proposal. Other than that and from what I see above, your second floor plan is not very clear yet. A suggestion: do not hesitate to consider non-orthogonal rooms if these can fit & function in a logical manner, especially if this will help you to avoid wasting any space. A question: how do you intend to bring natural light in the two kitchen classrooms?
I added more pictures to show that roof slants upwards towards the north and I am considering had sun lights for the ceiling of the class or making the hallway ceiling glass and the walls to the classroom glass also, since the roof slants.
